Andrew VanValin
Andrew VanValin serves as the Pulte Family Charitable Foundation’s senior manager of acquisitions and development for the special projects housing division. Andrew is an AICP-certified planner with a Master of Arts in Urban and Regional Planning from Florida Atlantic University. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies Secondary Education from Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, MI.
Andrew is driven by the desire to understand how underserved communities function, where they struggle, and how to best help them grow through thoughtful planning and design. Previously he served as a planning manager with New Urban Communities, where he was responsible for analyzing new land acquisition or disposition opportunities, translating project/community vision and design into marketable site plans and awareness, and coordinating all parties to ensure necessary entitlement and permitting.
