Each year at Mackinac Island Public School two graduating seniors will receive awards from the William J. Pulte Scholarship Program, which funds $10,000 a year for up to four years, as well as a $1,500 stipend for academic testing, college application fees, and travel.
In addition to individual scholarship awards, the Pulte Family Charitable Foundation supports Mackinac Island Public School with $10,000 each year, to establish a fund to be used for the college preparation for juniors and seniors. By 2025, this program will provide up to $93,000 each year to Mackinac Island Public School and its graduates.
